Some people are unhappy with the airline’s decision to charge for upgrades to the Mint suites. In contrast, JetBlue will begin charging a one-way upgrade fee for Mint Studio guests on Thursday. JetBlue used to allow passengers to request upgrades to one of the airline’s Mint suites at random. If you’re looking for the ultimate flying experience, Mint is the way to go. A standard Mint seat will set you back $599, but it’s worth every penny for the added legroom, reclining ability, and amenity kit. Mint seating on JetBlue is some of the most comfortable and spacious in the industry, and it’s priced accordingly.
